Program DetailS
We offer three K.O.D. activities for schools to choose from: Tiny Desk, Juice and Paint, and Versuz Battle. Each activity creates opportunities for young people to express themselves creatively and share their experiences. Click the
to see program details.
TINY DESK
A platform for young musicians to perform and share their original music in an intimate setting, reminiscent of NPR's “Tiny Desk Concerts.” Tiny Desk provides a stage for youth to express themselves through music, conveying their stories and perspectives on substance use and life experiences.
Juice & PAINT
Participants engage in a creative session where they can explore their artistic talents while enjoying refreshing juices. Through painting, youth can express their emotions, thoughts, and experiences related to substance use in a supportive environment.
Versuz BATTLE
An energetic competition where participants showcase their lyrical skills through rap battles, inspired by the spirit of Hip-Hop culture. Versuz Battle fosters self-expression, confidence, and camaraderie among youth, promoting positive outlets for self-esteem and identity development.
