  • Yes — K.O.D. can return to your school.

    We use interactive presentations that are intentionally designed for one-time engagement per group. Each session includes a pre-survey and post-survey, helping us assess impact and keep the experience fresh for students.

  • Yes — while K.O.D. offers three different activities, the interactive presentation is tailored to engage students based on age and development level, ensuring content is appropriate and impactful.

  • It’s completely free!

    Every student leaves with a swag bag that includes items like a t-shirt, hand sanitizer, journals and water bottles, as well as harm reduction, overdose prevention, and mental health resources.

    Students also have the chance to win special items during the event.

  • K.O.D. uses Hip-Hop culture, art, and high-energy interactive sessions to empower youth with knowledge and skills that support healthy decision-making.

    Program objectives include:

    • Understanding the effects of drugs on physical and mental health

    • Recognizing risky behaviors and peer pressure

    • Strengthening communication and refusal skills

  • The full event requires approximately 4 hours:

    • 1 hour for setup

    • 2 hours of programming

    • 45 minutes for breakdown

  • K.O.D. events are in high demand! To ensure availability, we recommend scheduling at least six weeks in advance.

  • To run smoothly, we need:

    • Strong communication

    • Staff support

    • A few materials (tables, chairs, water, projector, etc.)

    • A space that allows for group interaction

    • Access to wifi network

  • Each K.O.D. event is designed for a maximum of 160 students.

  • We need a space that fits all students comfortably and allows for staff movement. Cafeterias and gyms are great options — just add chairs, tables, and make sure Wi-Fi is available.

  • Schools are our main focus, but we also serve other youth groups, such as summer camps or after-school programs. If your group includes youth within a similar age range, we’d love to hear more and see if we can accommodate you.
